One of the weirdest things about a detox/fast is the way your body reacts to the nutritional density of the juice/smoothies you eat. As most people know, I am normally up until dawn. Last night, I was in bed by 1:30 a.m. about five hours earlier than normal. More incredible, I woke at 8:30 a.m.!So far, so good. I'm basically drinking/eating two to three smoothies a day that include any combination of kale, spinach, apples, oranges, strawberries, bananas, blueberries, cucumber, cinnamon and mangos. Lots of filtered water, MSM and Vitamin C. I'll also have a juice with kale, ginger, carrot, beets and apple. If I'm hungry between smoothies, I snack on grapefruit. Everything is organic and fresh. Starting with the first smoothie, I make the smoothies last. By taking in a little at a time, I don't get strong hunger pangs.
As a matter of fact, I feel pretty incredible. I have to pee constantly and almost had an accident at Lowes because I couldn't find the restroom.
I feel a little restless today as I'm used to moving around more but great otherwise. No flu like symptoms, no headaches or any other side effect. Well, other than the pee thing. Eventually, I hope to wake at dawn. I love seeing the sun come up now. As a young man I hated it. Especially when I was in the service. Not anymore. So much promise. Try to make everyday a great day!
