Day 167 - Working Working Working

This week is a "rest" week. Today I had a light brick workout of a forty five minute swim and an hour ride with 10x2 min fast, Z3 high cadence intervals.

The swim workout was:

3x800 stretch out swim:  1x every 4th length drill 1x steady swim 1x pull

But it didn't matter as I worked all day and all evening until late.  My body longed to workout. Especially the swim as I was working in my garage workshop and it was pretty hot in there.  I contemplated even riding at 1:00 am but decided to try to sleep earlier instead, which didn't happen. Even as I write this at 3:45 am, I'm thinking about riding.

Before I sign off, here is another example of what I eat on my plant based, whole food diet.

Minestrone soup with non gmo corn pasta. I don't eat very much pasta in general, corn or otherwise. Before I started training for Ironman, I used to eat pasta often.

One common question I am often asked about is, do I suffer from low energy eating plant based? Nope. The only time I have low energy is when my sleep is lacking. Unfortunately, that is often!
