Day 200 of training! Today I had my first full day off for awhile so I hung out with The Boss in Pasadena. My workout for today was an hour and twenty minute Z2 run.
Lately we have been exploring Pasadena more. We decided to eat at Real Food Daily, a plant based restaurant on Del Mar.
The food was very tasty and healthy. If you have heart disease, you should be eating plant based. I don't care what anybody tells you. 100 percent guaranteed to improve. Doubt it? Read up on Dr. Caldwell Essylsten and his work at The Cleveland Clinic. Or read his book, Preventing and Reversing Heart Disease. He's been healing patients with severe heart disease for decades without surgery.
When I started eating plant based, in all honesty, if the food wasn't tasty, I would not have been able to maintain it. Seriously, the food is excellent and yes, you can survive without cheese and dairy and no you do not need to eat massive amounts of protein everyday or milk for calcium. Your body can only absorb so much before you just expel the remainder.

Later as we headed home, this van was in front of us. Ironic that I was just thinking about doing another cleanse.
I looked it up and saw that there was a five day cleanse. Hmmmmm, something to think about! Until tomorrow my friends.
