October 3, 2013 No weight this week.
I woke up feeling pretty good today. I got up and took The Puppy for a walk. I felt so good and The Puppy wasn't pulling too much so I took her along a new route we hadn't walked before. She was ecstatic, prancing around and smiling.
We got back home and as soon as I took my flip lop off and took a step, I noticed my ankle felt like I had twisted it! So I did some work and looked for some work, all the while waiting for my foot/ankle to feel better. As the afternoon turned into the evening and then the late evening, I realized I was done for the day, at least. Dang it!
It's one thing to not train cause I'm tired or burnt out or working or whatever. But I'm motivated again and wanted to do today's workout. Here is why:
15' warm up
8x3' @ Z4 HR with 90 sec. ez jogs in between
15' warm down
This workout would have been a blast! I repeat DANG IT! I thought about riding awhile but was concerned my ankle might get inflamed. Tomorrow I swim 4050 yards or 2.3 miles. Until tomorrow my friends.
