October 4, 2013 No weight this week.
Finished my work a bit later than I wanted. As a result, I got to the pool late. So I swam as much and as hard as I could but wasn't satisfied. Coach told me to "just do something even if it's not the workout."
The Santa Ana winds were kicked up which had the benefit of giving me the pool to my lonesome!
I wish I could have swam longer dang it, but it is what it is. My pull felt good, breathing on point, and except for some slight cramping in my shoulder, it was a nice workout. There are moments when, everything is synchronized and it feels like I'm flying through the water. I love it when it feels that way. By the time I had to leave, the wind felt a little cooler and I took a moment to imagine what it will be like swimming in winter. Until tomorrow my friends.
