October 11, 2013 No weight this week.
Today I had a brick scheduled. A swim and a run. Here they are:
Swim: 2500 yards = 400 swim - 200 kick - 400 pull - 150 kick - 400 swim - 100 kick - 400 pull - 50 kick - 400 swim.
Run: One hour = Steady Z2 running HR - focus on tight range of HR - meaning keep it up in Z2 the entire time too.
Yesterday, I didn't get much rest and I am feeling the effects of it today. Basically more general soreness in my joints than normal. All day I felt like I was recovering from being awake for more than twenty four hours.
I went to H&S Bicycles today to get more Skratch Labs Hydration Mix and to look for some Bonk Breakers. Sadly, they were out. Then I went to a running store and asked for them but was told they didn't carry them. I spent a few minutes discussing the benefits of Bonk Breakers and how beneficial it would be if they stocked them. Then my friend Romeo texted me and said he would pick some up for the long ride tomorrow. We are going to do about six hours of riding in preparation of his Ironman in Arizona coming up in November. I have some stuff to prep for the ride so I'm going to keep this short. Until tomorrow my friends.
