February 4, 2014 252.4 lbs
Sorry the picture is blurry. Day two! Okay a little hiccup. I actually weighed two ounces more today! This is my life. No one ever believes me when I tell them how tough it is for me to lose weight. But seriously, this kind of thing is normal when you first start a program like this. Your body can actually go into a survival mode and release hormones that "hold onto" the weight. Most people give up soda, drop ten to twenty pounds. Give up fast food and drop even more. Not me! We will see how it goes for a week.
I still feel good. Had a little bit of a binge urge tonight but handled it okay. I was just under my 2000 calorie limit today by 50 calories. I didn't mention it yesterday but my nutrition plan is mapped out to the gram as far as my carbs, protein and fat micronutrients go. And my goal for this first phase is to get down to 225 lbs. Then the plan will be adjusted.
Chris (Hauth) is posting my new training schedule tomorrow so I can start again. Still have a bit of a lingering congestion in my lungs but enough is enough! Time to train. 284 Days til Ironman Arizona.
Until tomorrow my friends.
