Day 443 - Hill Repeats, Repeats, Repeats

It's ironic that I look like I am morbidly obese in this photo. Ironic because I'm training harder and longer than ever. But look at that neck, what the hell!

Today I had a forty five minute, hill repeat run:

Steady run with 10x60 sec fast running...UPHILL!  Z3+, Z4HR!

I have to say, I wasn't sure I would be able to finish about half way through but as is usual with this training, I was able to. I keep finding reserves that seem to go much deeper than I ever imagine.

I ran to the next neighborhood until I found a steep hill. I had created a timer in my Gymboss app. Basically, one minute up and two minutes down. I ran up the hill and walked back down. I was a little dizzy a couple times, but it felt great to accomplish it!

Another note. I did the workout before eating breakfast to see if it helped with fat burning. It added an extra level of suck and I had to mentally push myself but I believe it did work as I felt very different.

Well tomorrow I have a very long ride. Until tomorrow my friends!
