Late run with The Puppy. Here is the workout.
include 8x2' at Z3/tempo/fast but light on the feet with good form and aggressive turnover.
The Puppy and I headed out at 1:14 am. Before we got a half mile in, we saw a coyote across the street. Who immediately began "yipping" to let the rest of the pack know that it spotted food. We beat feet out of there and I stopped often to look behind us and make sure we weren't being followed. I also actively planned to throw The Puppy over the nearest fence, should they attack!
This run was tough due to all the zone three intervals but once again I was surprised that I was able to do it. Especially on the rolling hills. My times were faster than ever running the same route. Progress!
